Industrial control-units

often consist of a combination of PC keyboards, mouse devices, input units such as trackball, touch-panel, joystick as well as conventional switches, push-buttons, buttons, leds and acoustic signalling devices. For redundant or parallel control-units, there is an increased requirement of individual solutions such as splitters and extentions in order to guarantee in sync operation.

The CAN Bus control-section system by thermotemp

integrates a variety of standard requirements with a flexible concept. An internal CAN-Bus interface connects all control-units. The device facilitates the integration of relais control and SPS interfaces and is fitted next to the machine control. The control-unit system offers keyboard and mouse signals for various PCs. It is able to incorporate PC compatible input units such as keyboard, mouse, or trackball or offer respective plugs. The number of conventional buttons, switches, leds, relais or acoustic indicators is unlimited.

Configuring the control-section electronics via a PC interface is easily done, allowing quick and flexible changes.

RF Interface

CAN Bus control units can be added using our CAN/ZigBee module.
The ZigBee 802.15.4 RF interface can handle many control units. The CAN-Bus side implements CAN-Bus 2.0B. The module is available as stand-alone unit too.

Casing and design

The electronic modules are available as DIN rail modules with sockets for CAN-BUS, USB, RS232/422/485. Alternatively, we design and produce fully equipped and labelled front panels, control desks and vendor’s trays.
